I used to read Food Network Magazine. For years, I've wanted nothing more than quality, at-home pizza.

After doing some research, I decided to try the Ooni Basic Pizza Dough Recipe as a first attempt.
Once the Koda had been all set up, I was ecstatic! Lighting the oven was very straight-forward, and after preheating for 15 minutes, we were in business.
Knees weak, arms heavy, I grabbed the first pizza that we prepared for the Ooni's maiden voyage - a pepperoni supreme. I had watched a ton of Youtube videos on cooking techniques with the Ooni, and was very nervous about my first "launch". Fully prepared to flip the entire pizza upsidedown on the stone, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually quite easy to slide the pizza off the peel.
